Is there a cure?
Something that crossed my mind today: Do you think that we will ever find a cure for diseases like cancer? Or is it just one of the consequences of living in a fallen world? Have you thought about that?

Interesting thoughts, DeMo. I think part of it is because we live in a fallen world...our bodies simply fall apart. Could there be a cure someday? Sure. Will we cure every disease that afflicts us? Nope.
But hallelujah(!) I only have this body while I'm stuck on the ground. I think I'll go with Jennifer Anniston's or Cindy Crawford's body next time. :)
hey demo!
thanks for the comment. for some reason i did not know you had a blog(??)! your story about mary kay cracked me up. good times.
hm, good question... i think we will find a cure for cancer eventually, but i doubt it will be during our lifetime. the only reason i say it is likely we will find a cure is because we've found cures for so many other health problems (even though they've taken hundreds of years).
hope you have a wonderful week!! :)
Well, I think we will find a cure for cancer. However, living in a fallen world we are going to experience a certain amount of pain and suffering. I think it has to be that way. If there was no suffering we would have no need for God. With the suffering we have to acknowledge that the world is flawed, and that we have to turn to something else for help. The choice of who or what we choose is our struggle here on earth. As long there is a world we will have something to suffer from and battle with, whether it is disease, hunger, war, etc. Thats my two cents at least.
