Girls rule, boys drool

|
Tuesday night YPW was having a mingle at The Alley and I was invited to go bowling with my friends Beckstar, J Dogg (Back story on the name: J Dogg is because Jason was chosen as Snoop Dogg in an ice breaker at the mingle. Becky chose the other names, and you'll have to ask her for her reasoning), and J-Rod. The first game I had invited two guys to play with us that I knew from YPW. It made the price cheaper for all, so why not? They left after the first game, so the second game the odds were perfect for some battle of the sexes. And oh yes, the girls came through! Beckstar and I (Mandalicious) beat the guys. For a few frames I wasn't sure that we could hold our lead, but here's the proof that teamwork pays off:

Beckstar and J-Rod left after the second game but I continued the winning streak. No picture was taken of that game though, so you'll have to take my word for it that I won by 8 pins. Score!

SOOO bowling makes me nervous because I feel like everyone looks at my butt while I throw my ball. I know that's completely egotistical but I can't help myself. And I like to go with non-serious people because I'm SO awful at bowling that it's not funny. I think my highest score was 70...once.
But congratulations on the win!
PS I'm keeping my commenting name, I can't help my pride.

Hey! Found you through 20SB! Just wanted to give a little shout-out and I am TERRIBLE at bowling. Managing to get a triple-digit score is huge for me. :) It sounds like you had a lot of fun, though! (And you're way better at it than I am)

I LOVE BOWLING...although I don't do quite as well...it's more luck for me if I do really well! Now that we are a little in the swing of things, it is good to be back. Although, time with family is always precious! I wish I lived nearby, but I guess that is the typical life for a missionary kid. I have always been far away from my parents. It was fun taking those pictures at the beach. I wish we had a beach here. Oregon is one of those places that has everything (mountains, beach, city, etc.). It would be nice to live somewhere like that! Hope things are going well for you! By the way, I like your blog setup.

@Mandy - You just gotta learn to work it and not worry about people looking that way. :)
