Terro: Day 1

|
Remember that one time when I complained about having ants in my apartment?

Blog readers, meet Terro.

Terro has turned my apartment into this:
My first visitor!

And not even 30 minutes later...

And in the bathroom!
And there are so many more. What I find interesting is that there are little black ants that come in the kitchen and living room, and the ants in the bathroom (in the back of the apartment) have bigger heads and browner bodies. Is there a name for the study of ants and their habits? They're fascinating to watch, but I've been watching for so long, this is my current attitude:

Ewwwwwwwwww! This is so nasteeeeeeeee! I just want them out! Eat up, little suckers! Go forth and DIE!

"Ewwwwwwwwww! This is so nasteeeeeeeee!" But I'm glad you found something that works! Amazing how something so small can be so irritating!

Oh that is gross! I didn't realize you had them so bad or I might have been more sympathetic. Yikes. I hope that takes care of them!

It gets worse before it gets better. Perhaps I should have mentioned that earlier. Did you get Terro because of my recommendation? If so, I feel so honored and shall now change my name to "Mandy (the one who recommends things). Even if you didn't get it because of me, I will choose to believe you did. I thought I subscribed to your comments but I'm thinking I didn't.
If it looks like you've run out of Terro on the pieces you've laid (lain?) out, just add another drop.

The ant problem wasn't this bad. They were more like wandering ants here and there, and I couldn't find a trail for them. Now that they found the Terro, the trail is very clear.

Mandy, it was your recommendation, and Sarah Garlow said the same thing on Facebook.

I'll look at getting an RSS comment button at the top of the page, then you can read them in your google reader. Or I can just go comment on your blog. :)

Oh Terro. It is fascinating stuff isn't it? I must have super ants though because it just didn't get rid of them which I find to be very depressing.

One thing that should also help is for it to stop raining and dry up some. We got rid of our ants and spiders with Terminex. They said that when it rains like this it drives them inside. Either way Terminex got rid of them and I hardly every see a bug in the house!

I will not be able to check out your blog for a few more postings. The ants creep me out! My skin is crawling. Hopefully they DIE

Cool pics! Ants do not disgust me. However, I must thank you for not exterminating spiders. That would have scared me.

Thanks for becoming a follower!! :)
