Daily DeMo : Overdue for an Update

|
I'm watching Biggest Loser, and totally wouldn't mind that Aussie cutie Curtis Stone being in my kitchen cooking (and don't you love his scripted "homemade" tshirt?). It's a good thing that I don't have anyone counting on me to make a good meal (yet) because I am capable of cooking, but tonight's dinner was one of those that I made for the first time, didn't have all ingredients, had to improvise and made something "edible but doesn't look like it". And that's why I'm not sharing a picture of it with you. :)

On to the fun!

Daily DeMo :: Edition: Overdue
January 9 - 15, 2010

DD287 :: Saturday - I learned how to boil lobster from watching Julie & Julia.

DD289 :: Sunday - I met someone who works for a magazine in Wichita and we got to talk about printing presses, page signatures, Pantone colors... I was nearly in heaven. Oh, I even learned some stuff about the printing presses.

DD290 :: Monday - I learned something new about HTML templates in Dreamweaver, that they do exist, and that they are something that will save me lots of time if I use them.

DD291 - The Bachelor is just a big load of drama for ABC's ratings. But I still watch...

DD291 :: Tuesday - Gmail will let you have up to 100 emails in a conversation. Then it changes the subject to "Re: (subject)"

DD292 :: Wednesday - Google's not censoring Islam

DD292.1 - Haiti is devastated by the earthquake. I read up on how the earthquake happened and which plates were moving around. I already knew some of how the plates move, but wanted to see for myself just how close PAP was to the epicenter.

DD292.2 - My sister is having identical twin boys!

DD293 :: Thursday - Tonight I hung out with my friend Janel and learned a couple of stories that she probably doesn't want me to share with you. ;) I also learned how to care for an amaryllis plant that, unfortunately, I think might be dead. :(

DD294 :: Friday - I learned that my legs will be in pain when I run almost 3 miles, then go bowling, then go dancing at Margarita's in a span of about 6 hours. Ouch.

Re 291: I can't believe you even said that.
Re 293: Is that the plant you bought at Target with me? Sad.

Congrats to your sister!

And let me know when you actually boil a lobster - don't know if I'm brave enough to try!
