Making a comeback in the best way....

...with a meme. :)

Wow. It feels kinda good to be back here!

Here's a 10 on Tuesday. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a wordless Wednesday for you! (I think I know exactly what cuties are going to be in the picture.)

1. Where did you go to college?

John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Arkansas

2. What did you study?

Graphic Design. Thought about Psychology for a semester.

3. Was college really all that it was cracked up to be?

It was! I had a great time. I always brought way too much stuff with me, and dad always packed it up and moved it. Did I ever use that 20 pound box of magazines for collaging? Nope.

4. How far were you from home?

250ish miles. Used to drive it in 4.5 hours. Now I drive it in 4. :) (Maybe I'm a little speedy?)

5. Did you have the same roommate all four years?

I roomed with Mollie my first 3 years, and then Mel and Amanda my senior year in the best apartment ever. Mollie and I met at the early registration bbq, and found out we were from the same area. We got along really well and didn't see the point of switching roommates each year; our biggest decision was picking a new room. She put up with me, including a particular email with an attachment titled Legolas, but was really a picture of a tarantula. And then there was the time when she was reading All Quiet on the Western Front in bed above me, and I threw my hand over the side of her bed, right as she was reading the part about a character being trapped in one of the trenches. She's pretty forgiving. :)

By my senior year, Mel and I were pretty tight, and Amanda was her current rommate. I suppose that I had it pretty easy with the roommates. :)

6. Where did you order food from at 2am?

McDonald's. Definitely. It was pretty much the only thing still open. A McChicken with cheese is the best thing ever at 2am (still).

7. Did you date in college or were you tied down?

I spent a whole semester my junior year consumed with spending time with my boyfriend at the time, and in the process alienated some of my friends to the point where they didn't even bother asking me to go places with them. Fortunately they all accepted me back after summer break when I was gloriously single again.

8. Funniest drunk college moment?

I never got drunk but I did break the JBU Community Covenant a few times...

9. Did you make it to class on time?

Close to it. Fortunately it was a small enough campus, and most of my classes were less than a 5-minute walk. Photography class was an exception. Usually Mel and I had forgotten to do our assignment, so we'd get up at 7, take our pictures, run them to the one-hour at Wal-Mart, and try to make it to class at 10.

10. What was your favorite class in college?

I have a few. I think mostly because I loved the professor so much. Mr. Balla's Economics class, and also Business Communication. In BC, I learned not to use more than 7 words on a PowerPoint presentation (because you should know enough of what you're talking about to not use it as a crutch) and a bunch of other things that are very practical in life outside of school. In Economics we learned all of the verses (and heard some songs) about the borrower being slave to the lender and basic Biblical principles about saving, spending & borrowing.

Awww that was fun! I'll be back tomorrow with sweet baby goodness. :)

Welcome back! The Walgreen's in Siloam Springs was the first place I threw up when morning sickness hit. Ah, memories :-)
