Wordless Wednesday :: Forever Friends

I could put together a collage of pictures very similar to this one. We always end up taking pics with me in the middle. Janel (on the right) and I put together a "Don't Go!" party this weekend for Angela and her husband, Doug. They are leaving in less than a month for England for three years, thanks to the USAF. It's starting to hit me that Doug and Angela are leaving and I can't do anything about it (but I can go visit them!). I'm thankful to have Janel and Angela (and the men in their lives) in my life and to be able to call them friends. I'm getting a little teary-eyed writing this post. Sigh...

Tonight I rode my bike its first 3 miles of the season to Dollar General and back because I so desperately needed/wanted bread to make a sandwich for dinner. And kettle cooked bbq chips. Those things are goooooood.

Time to make some grilled sandwich goodness on the George Foreman while I watch the trainwreck that is Kate on DWTS.

Daily DeMo overload

If you read Presently DeMo in Google Reader or something similar, you've probably noticed that a new Daily DeMo keeps showing up, and it seems like things are really out of order. It's because I got very behind in my posting and last night I nearly had a heart attack when I thought that I'd lost nearly 3 months worth of DDs from Google Notebook, where I take notes until I decide to post. (Blame it on using IE7 on the PC side of my Mac.) All of my discoveries are safe, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't post them still! I guess this was my wake-up call to get back to posting.
